Pattern A61138 is a Cyrillic alphabet.

It looks like you need at least 11 strings wide to fit the height of all of the letters (plus an additional two if you want to not use the knots on the edges). You could get away with fewer if you use only lowercase letters, or if you don't need any of the letters that go below or above the "normal" box which is 8 knots high.

If you don't know how to spell the name in Russian, try using an online translator if you don't know someone who knows Russian.
