Help how i made a circle pattern?

hi everyone! i'm new in this forum :) i have a doubt! i would like to make a from a picture of a crop circle... how can i start? i would like to have a "paint" as a result in a square and the circle have to be in it (like this photo http://www.altrarealta.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/banner-speciali.jpg ) how can i make it? i don't know where to star... thank's for everything! |

A picture like this can be made into an alpha pattern by pixelating it, but it will be a very big pattern if you want it to be nice and detailed.
