I've been doing the easy bracelets for a long time, which include the Chinese staircase,twist,and braid. and I'm sick of those already, but i dont understand how to read the arrows. it just confuses me. if anyone could help, i would be so happy(=

the arrow going to the right: \ is a forward knot, the one going backward: / is a backward knot, the one going right then left is a forward-backward knot and the one going backward then forward is a backward-forward knot... Hope i explained it well enough! :)

There's also a visual key at the bottom of every normal pattern and 2-color alpha pattern.

In any bracelet there are ONLY 4 Types of knots

1-FORWARD KNOT : It's divided into 2 laps of tying ( 2 ties creates ONE forward knot ) they are :
1st : A normal 1/2 forward knot
2nd : A normal 1/2 forward knot
BACKWARD KNOT: Also divided into 2 laps of tying (2 ties creates ONE backward knot ) :

1st :A normal 1/2 backward knot
2nd :A normal 1/2 backward knot

FORWARD BACKWARD KNOT : Divided into 2 laps of tying (2 ties creates ONE forward backward knot ) :

1st : A normal 1/2 FORWARD knot
2nd : A normal 1/2 BACKWARD knot

BACKWARD FORWARD KNOT : Divided into 2 laps of tying ( 2 ties creates ONE forward Backward knot ) :

1st : A normal 1/2 BACKWARD knot
2nd: A normal 1/2 FORWARD knot
