Hey! My name is Gawie (cuz that's what my friends call me)
I lived in Australia and Canada and now I live in Iran! My family likes to travel a lot!
I didn't know much about friendship bracelets until about 3 months ago, though I made my first chevron in Australia and never finished it because it took far too long to tie one knot!
Then I started making kuhimono bracelets and when my friend saw it she got into bracelet making too and we both started our hobbies in bracelet making.
If it wasn't for her i wouldn't have ever known about normal patterns or even this site! I've been making friendship bracelets for a while but it didnt pass my mind to make an account until a week ago. But I'm very glad I did because I made lots of new friends and got loads of inspiration from other users!
This is one great website and I'm thankful to the maker of it for encouraging all these great knitters to keep going!
