Hey people! I was kinda fooling around last night and i made something combining the Chinese staircase and cutting off fewer strings. You'll know what I mean when I'm finished. You have to know how to make the Chinese staircase before doing this. For this tutorial i will be using the colors blue, green, coral, purple, white and magenta.You will need:
-A pair of scissors
-6 pieces of 1 foot long string(different colors)
-A bead (optional)
1. Start off by making 10 Chinese staircase knots with the green. Don't pull the knots too tight. This way they won't be as slim.
2. Take the red string and tie a knot with the green string, then cut the green string off as short as it can go.
Keep repeating these 2 steps with any wanted colors until desired length. you should notice that the Chinese staircase should start getting smaller. Enjoy!
