Materials
8 strands of hemp or cord, beads (pony beads work best.)*beads optional*
Step by Step
Step 1
Start 1 regular hemp bracelet with 4 strings, two in the middle and one on each side. Tie 10 knots. DO THIS TWICE! You will need two identical bracelets.
In the picture I connected the two parts already by twisting the two middle strings around each other after every knot.
Step 2
Clip down the two bracelets SIDE BY SIDE.
***STEPS 3-5 ARE OPTIONAL, DEPENDING IF YOU WANT TO USE BEADS***
Step 3
Set aside the two leftmost strings and the two rightmost strings. They will not be used yet. On the photo I set aside one instead of two strings.
Step 4
Take the 4 (or 6 in the picture )remaining strings and tie 10 knots as if it were a regular hemp bracelet. This attaches the two bracelets in the middle.
Step 5
Depending on the length of the 10 knots and the size of your beads, take the leftmost strings that were excluded and thread a bead(s) on them. Do the same for the two rightmost strings.
Step 6
Continue steps 1 - 5 until desired length.
