Introduction

This braid can be made with 3 of one colors and 1 of another, or 4 different colors.

Line up 4 strings with the middle string 3 (1 1 2 1)

Taking the first on the left, go over under over the next 3 strings.

Then take the now third string and go over under to the left.

Now take the second string and go under over to the right.

Repeat step 2 and 3.
