So im really new to this and i was wondering if anyone knows how to read the patterns that don't have arrows on them that are just boxes because i cant figure it out.
and what does the arrow down on a pattern like this: https://www.friendship-bracelets.net/alpha_pattern.php?id=15474 (its bellow the 2 images)

so on alphas(2 colored) the boxes just mean foward or backward knots. usally on 2 colored alphas, if ur knotting to the left, then if the box isnt the color of the backround string, then u do a backward knot. then its the oppistite for knotting to the left. hope this helped!
