I was just wondering how you can add little inscriptions or initials to the photos that you upload here, so if anyone can explain how you do that that'd be great.

Go to the pattern and click "upload photos"!

Rainylights, most photo editing programs offer the possibility to add text to photographs. (the programs you use to resize pics, to add effects, etc.)
