Good tip for undoing mistakes!! by Merry1 13 years ago

A good tip i use is to bend the end of a paper clip so it sticks out a little bit, then use the bit that sticks out to carefully undo your knots! I have found that thsi works very well and i think that this has an advantage over maybe using needles because you are less likely to accidently rip threads! I hope this helped you :)

I use an old seam ripper I found it in my late grandmother's sewing box. It works perfect too.

I always have a safety pin attached to the head of my clipboard && I use it to undo the knots.

An embroidery needle works fantastically for me because unlike a regular needle, it's not as sharp so you don't poke yourself. I also find that it's small enough to get inside the knots, yet it doesn't rip the thread.
