no. you do both of them twice.

Technically ur doing both of them twice because on a single knot ur either doing two forward knots or two backward knots. Its the same thing for reverse knots ur either doing one forward and one backward or one backward and one forward which equals two also. Get it? I really dont get what ur trying to ask but if thats not it then plz explain what ur asking. :)
