I'm new to this site and I don't know how long to make the string for pattern #1420. I use embroidery floss and I want it to be about 9 inches or 23 cm.

I usually use the rule five inches of string for every one inch of product. The add like 2-4 inches after. So you'd probably need 48 inches.
