um, i think you started it out wrong, but when i look at the generator pattern, it seems to me that there is something wrong with the pattern itself,
but maybe you should start over, i think you began it wrong.

I think you get confused when the pattern repeats because the colours swap over. Take another look at it and ssee if you can see what I mean.

There's nothing wrong with the pattern. I did that one before. (no pix, sorry)

But, you definitely did something wrong.
Mine turned out fine, exactly how it was supposed to look.
Are you doing it row-by-row? Are you using the outer two strands every other row?

The pattern is ok. Look again at it, because the colors get swapped in yours. Start over and try again.
