- Similarities & KW -> Only possible for mods to add similarities (I asked the question in a previous message in this thread and 1 or 2 person said OK). Actually some keywords can be added (I think it's at alpha pattern creation). I think those are visible in the "alpha pattern check" task.
- Thumbnail not showing everything -> I remember when making this I had a hard time to make something that looks good and shows "all" of the pattern in most cases. Let me know the level of importance of this request. If it's possible I'd postpone that until I change the design completely (the will take some time for sure though). If it's really necessary I'll spend time on to make it work well for you/the mods.
- Check page -> In fact I completely missed that one. I'll add to the list.
- User Eric -> That's difficult to do at the moment. I'll see what I can do without creating too much work.
- Created pattern not in pending list -> Sorry I probably missed that in rush. I'll check.


Question
Has anyone complained about the "being logged out"? I tried to fix it yesterday but I see I wasnt logged in anymore this evening. I hope it's not a problem for the users ATM.

I'll post an updated "todo list". Since the memory problem is now pretty stable, I'll be able to go back to development and I invite you to tell me what you'd like to see fixed first.

A few important things for me are :
1) Ensure users don't have annoyances (ex: being logged out while making a pattern is a pain). Also, unexpected behaviors (like the pending list not showing patterns after posting).
2) Make sure we have everything in place to prevent spam (I have a few things to do on user registration to put all the chances on our side that we don't get a ton of fake new users overnight). Limit the number of patterns posted in a 24h period.
3) Improve your admin tools.

- (by kleinevos) When we check uploaded pictures we need to see a thumbnail of the pattern to see if it is uploaded to the right pattern. We now have to first go to the pattern, it takes more time and we cannot see picture and pattern in one window.
- (by kleinevos) When checking kumihimos we now see the pattern page, after clicking ‘review’. That means we see the image different than the thumbnails in the list while searching. Turned 90 degrees, and also mirrored (at least that is how it was on the old site. It makes checking a lot more difficult like this.

I had to take this evening off to prepare my taxes, but I should be back to work on the website tomorrow.

Regarding the pending patterns not visible in "pending profile"... I reviewed the list and realized I didn't mention anything about that but I do remember checking this part of the code! I can't remember if I changed something though...

I just made some test (on the new website - I haven't redeployed since yesterday night)... From my understanding it works fine or maybe I'm doing something differently... Here's what I did :

- I went to the generator and created a new pattern (#102513) you can see it here : https://friendship-bracelets.net/patterns/102513 . I jut tried with a normal pattern, but I reviewed the code and it should be fine for the other types too...
- I went to my profile, clicked "pending" in the top menu with the question mark icon... I see my pattern there...

Are we talking about the same thing? What I realized is that "patterns that are not ready" are considered in the list. Can it be the source of the confusion?

I also looked in the database for the pattern posted by muddybeetle and all seems normal with her "saved" pattern. I don't see what's wrong... @kleinevos since you were able to reproduce the problem, do you have any other information that could help me find what's where's the bug?

Two things.

I just redeployed. The scrolling on iPhone (forum, message) should be fixed now.

Also, I just made another test... It works fine for the pending page.

Here's an updated list of completed tasks. Note that I'll be keeping an eye on some of them (memory problem, etc.). Also, some of those tasks date back from the day of the migration (I just don't think I posted it yet).

I have a message from jcatch6 claiming that she cannot see her rejected alpha pattern.

As for the disconnect, it disconnects me quite often!

A user uploaded the same photo twice to a kumihimo, in one I checked yes, but I do not know how to reject the other or delete it. Can we do this?

I was checking A69516, I had an error and I commented public, and I could not eliminate it because it gives an error.
So the problem of deleting is not only in the forum, it is also in the comments on the patterns.

Cecilia: I think you can push the ‘delete’ on top of the picture.
Nicolas: I still cannot see either one of the patterns I made that are still in pending on my profile page in the pending-list ....

And I would really like to see the search-button fix as a priority.
Keyword and similarity adding is fine for me like it is now.
