I’m not 100% sure what you mean, Cecilia, but I agree on the patterns being added to the ‘search’, meaning we should be able to search on numbers (#... and A... and K...)
For the time being we can open a patternpage and change the number in the url.
And we can also manually start adding the pattern-number to the keywords.

We can change the pattern number in the URL for now, but this is not comfortable for users and neither is it comfortable for us. I think it is preferable to wait a little longer and that the use is easy for everyone, Mods and users.

On the other hand, we will probably forget to manually enter the pattern number as the key, so I proposed (if
we are going to do the search from the pattern search page, in "keyword") which will be loaded automatically when creating the pattern (obviously if possible).

Perhaps easier, it would be on the search page of each pattern type, to include a search only by pattern number, separated from the others, in this case it is not necessary to add any keyword since it searches by pattern number.

It looks like I’m not getting notifications when someone answers via a moderator comment in the guestbook. Public comments give notifications, mod comments not.

I just noticed one of the profiles-to-check is on top of the mod-task list (under uploaded pictures) instead of under all of the other tasks .....

This is rare Kleinevos. The profile information changed but yesterday I checked another account that had changed the information profile and was together with the others.

The difference is that the profile picture (which it does not have) appears as checked. In the newly made accounts it appears unchecked.
It is an old account, could it be that she wanted to change the profile photo and that is why it is at the top of the list?

Maybe ... but it said check profile, and not check profile-picture. It should still be under the patterns in our mod-list, not on top.

A few clarifications needed :

Like when you're looking at all the kumihimo patterns? I think it was like this in the old website. Is it a problem if I keep this for "after the new design"?

2) It looks like I’m not getting notifications when someone answers via a moderator comment in the guestbook. Public comments give notifications, mod comments not. --> I think this is the "famous" element related to guestbook and notifications that I was feeling was forgotten... Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly... What you'd like is to have a notification when someone "also made a moderator comment" on a guestbook entry that you commented? Or is it something different?

Here's what I noted for the search (please let me know if I've missed something) :


Search should allow searching in
- Tutorial (titles at least, content if possible)
- Forum (discussions)
- Users (find by alias for regular users // find by email, first name, last name, alias for mods)
- Redirect to pattern when search exactly match a pattern (### -> redirect to normal pattern, A### -> redirect to alpha pattern, K### -> redirect to kumi pattern)

The additional items I would add on the todo :

- Search (it's already in the todo list)
- Show number of pictures uploaded to the pattern in the kumihimo search page (might be delayed until new design)
- Add possibility to favorite Kumihimo pattern (might be delayed until new design)
- Mod task order (profile to check is shown before some patterns)
- Notification for moderator comments on guestbook (waiting confirmation for questions above)
