You'll find at the end the list of things I've had time to do today.

If I didn't miss anything, I think the last "priority element" that is remaining is to "limit the number of patterns submitted in a day". I'd like your opinion about an idea I had... I wanted to put a message asking for our users not to submit more than 5 patterns a day instead of building the whole validation / error messages / etc. The message would be visible in each of the generator. I know there's a chance that some will ignore the message, but if it solves the problem (people limit themselves) I'd save some time on that feature and start working sooner on the new layout. Worst case we have a few rebels that submit a ton of pattern and I set it up when we face the problem... Let me know what you think.

Also, let me know if I forgot something major... To be honest, there's still a few items in the "priority list", but I think they can wait (IMO the new layout is more important). I can post the updated list if you want.

On my side I want to clean some of the code before jumping on the new design (it'll make it easier to update the layout too). I also have a small memory problem to address. Then I'd start working on the new template :D!!! It's not my favorite development task, but I think it's so much needed (espacially being "mobile friendly").

- New bug: I can’t access my notifications, it leeds to an error page
- The tutorial I edited a few days ago is still in the task-list, with a bad link. Can you remove it?

Another new bug: I can’t enter the mod-task-list .......it leeds to an error page, just like the notifications.

Notification bug is fixed. It was only affecting those who had a "guestbook comment (moderator comment)"

I cannot enter the Mod-task-list either, it happens to me just like Kleinevos (we use a different operating system in case that is important)

It may not be the place to put this post, but it's for everyone to keep an eye on.

When we check a pattern and look for something similar, let's try not to put it directly in "similar" because the pending pattern will appear in the similar of the patterns we add. This makes (at least for now) that from those patterns that we put as similar, you can access pending or rejected.

Sorry about the mod task list that I didn't fix with the last deployment. It's now OK!

Request from users:
- Is it possible to add a preview of a (normal) pattern before people save it? When users make a pattern they see the generator image, but after saving it the pattern image looks different.
I’m used to it myself, because I have always used this generator, but apparently it confuses other users. I think it’s mainly because of rounded vs square grid, and because the generator does not show the outside half squares.
- Is is possible to add the option for normal users to change pattern-colors of existing patterns without the option to save it? (So they can save the image in colors of their choice to their devices.)

It is still the same as on our old site, which means anyone, even when not logged-in (!), can see any pattern through our generator. Even rejected patterns. The option to use it for changing colors for their own use is very good, but this also means that we still get many existing patterns (with minor changes) in our mod-task-list.
I know we talked about this before, and the goal was to add the pattern-number of the base-pattern to the submitted pattern, but I thought this (putting an existing pattern into the generator) was disabled for normal users till that feature was added.....

The preview is a little complicated to do how it's setup right now. I reused part of the old generator (for image preview) and it's not easily usable. I'll look again into it after the new layout.

Regarding the "able to edit patterns" I'm a little confused. Here's my understanding of what's available on the site and what's wanted. Let me know what I'm missing...

1) At the moment only moderator should have the link to view an existing pattern in the generator.
2) The request for other users to edit it is already on the "wish list" but I'll keep it for after new layout is in place.
3) I'm confused about why "people can see any pattern through the generator"... I'd have to double check if there's a validation in place to prevent that, but otherwise the only way for them to do that is if they have the right link...
